100 процентов акций АО «НГК «Казгеология» принадлежат АО «НГК «Тау-Кен Самрук»

Pursuant to the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 30, 2021 #971 “On certain issues of reorganization of subordinate organizations of the Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, the state block of shares of Qazgeology JSC was transferred as payment for the placed shares of National Welfare Fund Samruk-Kazyna JSC.

100% voting shares of Qazgeology JSC are transferred to Tau-Ken Samruk National Mining Company, one of Kazakhstan’s leading companies in the field of geological exploration and mining.

“Tau-Ken Samruk National Company assumes the rights and obligations of Qazgeology JSC the Sole Shareholder”. It should be noted that all conditions for partners and investors will remain the same for all existing projects. However, we have the opportunity to expand the potential perimeter of co-operation. Subject to mutual interest, Tau-Ken Samruk can participate in investment projects at the construction and operation stages,” said Bakyt Chirchikbayev, Chairman of the Management Board of Tau-Ken Samruk NMC JSC.

Qazgeology JSC and Tau-Ken Samruk JSC strengthen their positions in the geological exploration market and increase opportunities to implement the large-scale projects for the exploration and extraction of natural resources. As part of cooperation between the two companies, it is planned to carry out complex geological and geophysical surveys, study mineral resources and develop solid mineral deposits.

Personnel changes have taken place in the composition of the Board of Directors and the Management Board of NGEC Kazgeology JSC.

In accordance with the decision of the Sole Shareholder, the Board of Directors of NGEC Kazgeology JSC included Chairman of the Management Board of NGC Tau-Ken Samruk JSC Bakhyt Chirchikbayev and Chief Business Development Director Nariman Absametov.

On August 15, 2023, B. Chirchikbayev was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of  NGEC Kazgeology JSC, and the committees of the Board of Directors were formed in the following compositions:

Strategic Planning Committee: Chairman of the Committee – M.Perzadayev, Independent Director; Member of the Committee – M. Kopeyev, Independent Director; Member of the Committee – N.Absametov.

Committee on Personnel, Remuneration and Social Issues: Chairman of the Committee – B. Chirchikbayev (if elected Chairman of the Board of Directors); Member of the Committee – D. Kilybayev, Independent Director; Member of the Committee –M. Kopeyev, Independent Director; Member of the Committee – M. Perzadayev, independent director.

Audit Committee: Chairman of the Committee – D. Kilybaev, Independent Director; Member of the Committee – M. Kopeyev, iNdependent Director; Member of the Committee – N. Absametov.

On August 15, 2023, the powers and labor relations with the Deputy Chairmen of the Board of NGEC Kazgeology JSC Baurzhan Amirbekov and Bakytzhan Nurmaganbetov were terminated prematurely.

Tutkyshbaev was elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Also, members of three committees of the Board of Directors were elected during the meeting. The Strategic Planning Committee of the Board of Directors of Kazgeologiya JSC included Perzadaev M.A., Tutkyshbaev K.S. and Tagash E.V. Kopeev M.Zh., Kilybayev D.A., Tutkyshbayev K.S. were elected to the Committee on Human Resources, Remuneration and Social Issues of the Board of Directors of Kazgeology JSC. And Kilybayev D.A., Kopeev M.Zh. and Tutkyshbayev K.S. were elected to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors of Kazgeology JSC.

In connection with the expiry of the term of office, K.T. Nurtayev was elected as the Ombudsman of the Company.

On June 1, within the framework of the 13th International Mining and Metallurgy Congress (ASTANA MINING & METALLURGY 2023), the National Exploration Company Qazgeology met with representatives of the Canadian Chemicals Company Nutrien (Nutrien Ltd).

Joint efforts were discussed during the meeting, where the parties expressed their readiness to cooperate. The talks laid the groundwork for future agreement between the two companies.

Nutrien sees itself as an active participant in projects in Kazakhstan.

The long experience of participation in international conferences, enables Qazgeology JSC to enter the markets of other countries with the aim of attracting foreign investments.

Решением Единственного акционера Комитета геологии Министерства экологии, геологии и природных ресурсов Республики Казахстан приказ № 29-нқ от 03.05.2023 новым членом Совета Директоров АО «Казгеология» назначен Туткышбаев Кайырхан Серикович.

Туткышбаев Кайырхан Серикович родился 1991 году в Алматы. Окончил Казахский национальный технический университет имени К.И.Сатпаева, специальность – Горное дело/Управление проектами.

Свою трудовую деятельность Туткышбаев Кайырхан Серикович начал в 2009 году в ОО «Центрально-Азиатский горнопромышленный Союз» (Астана). С 2015 года работал в различных частных компаниях, затем в Министерстве энергетики РК. В 2022 году стал Заместителем председателя Комитета геологии Министерства экологии, геологии и природных ресурсов.

Имеет награды: медаль «Мұнай-газ кешенін дамытуға қосқан үлесі үшін» (04.12.2020 г.) и медаль «Ерен еңбегі үшін» (02.12.2021 г.).
