Kazgeology Project took the ІІ place in the national competition “Qazaqstan Project Management Awards 2020”

On November 28, 2020, the ceremony of awarding the winners of the competition for improving the project management in state administration “Qazaqstan Project Management Awards 2020” was held at the Academy of State Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Academy of State Administration with the assistance of UNDP Kazakhstan, UNDP and the Project Management Center of the Prime Minister’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan had realized the online competition on 1st September 2020

The main goal of the competition is to support government agencies and organizations that are actively introducing and applying project management methods and tools in their activities, encouraging civil servants to develop leadership and new competencies.

According to the results of the competition in the nomination “BEST PROJECT OF THE YEAR”

Kazakhstan Respublikasynyn Zhogargy Soty/Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan (“Minsiz sudja”) took I (first) place (gold);

The Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, (Creation and implementation of the information system “National Bank of Mineral Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan” took II (second) place (silver);

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Implementation of a three-tier system for attracting and supporting investors), as well as the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Export acceleration QazTrade) took III (third) place (bronze).
