On November 22-23, the Ministry of Geology and Ecology signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with representatives of the Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources (KIGAM) during a seminar.
KIGAM has shown its interest in mineral deposits in Kazakhstan, particularly lithium, nickel and other metals that are used to produce batteries. As you know, KIGAM is a geological sciences development institute, which specializes in the development of technologies for the exploration of rare metals using artificial intelligence.
KazGeology JSC has expressed its willingness to provide comprehensive support both in matters of cooperation and in the conduct of exploration work. It was decided to establish a Working Group as part of a long-term partnership.
