KazGeology JSC has held an online conference on anti-corruption issues

Pursuant to the Address of Qasym-Jomart Toqayev the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 01.09.2020 on preventing and fighting against corruption, as part of the anti-corruption policy of KazGeology JSC, an online conference “Improving the Anti-Corruption Legislative Framework” was held on November 6, 2020

The speaker was Zhazira Zhaksylykovna Zhylkyshieva, First Deputy Head of the Anti-Corruption Department in Nur-Sultan.

During her speech, Zh. Zhylkyshieva has briefed participants on legislative measures taken against corruption in Kazakhstan, new award system for citizens report a corruption offense or otherwise assist in combating corruption, restrictions on the joint work of close relatives, and responsibility for provocation of corruption crimes. Additionally, she informed about the work of branches of the project office “Adaldyk Alany” on public relations. It provides clarification on the issues of expanding the range of quasi-public sector officials, assimilated to persons authorized to perform state functions, in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 6, 2020 No. 365-VI “On Amendments and Additions to the Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan On Anti- Corruption Issues”.

During the online conference, A.K. Boranbayev the Chairman of the Management Board of KazGeology JSC and Zh. Zhylkyshieva, First Deputy Head of the Anti-Corruption Department in Nur-Sultan discussed the establishment of “Compliance Service” in KazGeology JSC.

During the conference, Zh. Zhylkyshieva, First Deputy Head of the Anti- Corruption Department in Nur-Sultan was asked questions about the implementation of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Combating Corruption” and discussed measures to respond to corruption offenses.
