Qazgeology JSC gives priority to the human resource development in the geological industry of Kazakhstan. An essential component of work in this area is interaction with industry-specific educational institutions of different levels. The main purpose of organizing the applicant’s practice or internship is to gain hands-on experience and skills for subsequent use in the work. As a first step towards building a career in the industry, Qazgeology provides students with the opportunity to complete practice and internship, during which they can corroborate their theoretical knowledge in the specialty with practical skills gained in real production conditions, try their hand and learn more about their future profession.
Cooperation involves targeted training of young professionals in educational institutions, internships in the company, cooperation in the scientific field, and much more.
During the internship period, a seasoned mentor is assigned to the student, who will help adapt to the workplace.
Students who have successfully proven themselves during this period are enrolled in the company talent pipeline.
The practice/internship objectives are:
- Gaining of hands-on experience and work skills by the applicants
- Practical study of the tasks and functions assigned to the Company
- Familiarization of the applicant with the Company’s work arrangement
- Consolidation and deepening of knowledge acquired by the applicant in the course of training.

After review of the submitted documents and making a decision on admission to a practice or internship, a Practice/Internship Agreement should be concluded.
